The War Amps are committed to meeting the accessibility needs of the people we help.

The CHAMP website and downloadable content has been designed following W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA conformance recommendations. When possible, The War Amps also looks for opportunities to meet Level AAA compliance.

Content has been designed to give visitors an optimal user experience with assistive technology by including:

  • the correct use of semantic HTML and ARIA Landmarks (headings, lists, tables, etc.);
  • descriptive and informative alternative text on images;
  • text-only, high contrast, text resizing and content personalization options;
  • links with context to the written content around it (no links that just say "Click here" or "More...");
  • responsive design to present content on all platforms including desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

If there are any difficulties navigating the website, a technical issue is discovered or a section of the website is not accessible with assistive technology, please contact us.
